tapering

with a race coming up at the weekend it was importent to flex the legs but not over do it and that was easy to achieve with the strong headwind making the speed quite slow. after the last ride completely over dress I went the other way and thankfully despite the foreboding clouds it stayed dry and warm.All the training done (just riding about as normal really) it’s time to taper the effort before the race.
